Pro-ELT Courses April 2013

It quite tiring for me to attend this Pro-ELT courses conducted by the British Council. The main purpose for this course is to level up the standard for English teachers here in Ranau. The course conducted at PPD Ranau Lama and our first tutor was Mr Robert Rudge. He is well spoken in British accent and  helpful guy which attracted most of the female teachers. The teachers really like him the most. Well for me, this course is important for me to level up my English Standard from B1 to B2 so that I can be exempted to take this course anymore. Hopefully all be fine after this coming Thursday after the APTIS test. The result for this test will be published on Monday next week (8 April). 

Sorry to all my pupils that I cannot teach you guys English for week or two in this month. We were the 1st Phase centralized course teachers consist of 28 teachers from all over Ranau school attending the course. Well the course came along with an English teaching folder which comprise of 25 modules needed to be completed in one month. Back to APTIS test, it was the continuous CPT test conducted last year. The standard level for primary teacher is B2 but I was in the B1 group which I failed to get another 5 marks to be level in B2 group. The course conducted 6 hours from 8am until 2pm with 15 minutes break for every session. 

So far I have learnt Classroom Management, writing a Podcast, Advanced Level of Grammar and Vocabulary and Standard Lesson Plan. We are off from the school schedule and our mind focused on this course entirely. I hope that from this course, it can improve me as an English teachers!!!

Holiday School Break March 2013

Holiday mean... it is time to relax your mind, finish all the jobs, take a holiday trip, spent time with your loves one and so forth. As a motto used by me and all the teacher here at SK Naradan "Kalau cuti, cuti betul-betul". it is the time to rest but..... for the pupils, it is the time for you to study and practice more on your core subject for UPSR 2013. Make sure that all the home works given to must be completed before the school break ends. 

As for the teachers, Happy Holidays and Keep Safe.

Message: For all my pupils, I'm be away for whole week starting from 1st-5th April 2013 for English Intensive Training (Balai Ranahon, PPD Ranau Lama). Do the exercise "English Comprehension, Year 4,5 and 6. Unit 7-9, Exercise. complete it..... remember your promise!!!!!!
