Pesta Ko-Kum 2012

Pesta Ko-Kum will be held at SK Tarawas, starting from 04th-05th April 2012. SK Naradan Ranau English Team will be sending two contestant for Public Speaking and Story Telling. Since the English Team did not have enough prepartion, so our team will only sending two contestant for this upcoming competition. The first contestant is Welmanita Jasman for Publick Speaking competition and Elyse Paulus for Story Telling competition. Mr Harry George and Mr Daven Sinteh will become one of the appointed judges for this two days Pesta Ko-Kum Competition. 

SK Naradan Ranau will compete and there will be a little bit changes that will surprise other school. SK Naradan will be competing in Zone Garas and if we are lucky we will competing again for the district level.  As the English Panel Head for SK Naradan, there is nothing much that I can do to make my pupils fully prepared for the competition but fur sure my pupils will give tremendous challenges for other competitors. We hoping that this year,at least we got consolation prizes for this two competition. Good Luck for all contestant and Go SK Naradan GO....

SK Naradan Ranau Headmaster

SK Naradan Ranau Headmaster Mr Paiman @Nordin Galimbu was very understandable person with vast experience in education line. I was so grateful when I first met him and he was very helpful person. Nearly 50 years old, energetic and full with idea to give the best for the school and the villagers near the school. Mr Paiman was granted BSK (Bintang Seri Kinabalu) from Sabah TYT and PPN (Pingat Pangkuan Negara) by DYMM Dipertuan Agong Sultan Zainal Abidin last year (2011).  He graduated from Maktab Perguruan Kent, Tuaran in early 80s and appointed as Headmaster for SK Naradan from 2004 until present. 

Very ambitious person which targeted that SK Naradan Ranau will become one of the best school in Ranau Sabah. Together with all the teacher in SK Naradan promise that, will continue the hard work for the best of the school and the pupils who really edger to get more knowledge. I wish him all the best and continue his good effort for the SK Naradan, Ranau, Sabah and Malaysia.

Pingat Pangkuan Negara (P.P.N.)

Pingat Pangkuan Negara merupakan pingat kepada Darjah Yang Mulia Pangkuan Negara. Dikurniakan kepada mereka yang memberi jasa kepada negara. Bagi pagawai kerajaan yang boleh dipertimbang ialah mereka yang berada dalam Kumpulan Sokongan dan kebawah atau setaraf dengannya. Tidak ada had bilangan penyandangnya.


Pingat Pangkuan Negara ini berbentuk bulat dan diperbuat daripada perak. Di sebelah hadapan terdapat ukiran Mahkota Diraja Malaysia. Di atas ukiran Mahkota tersebut terdapat cogankata Darjah iaitu, ‘DIPELIHARAKAN ALLAH’. Tulisan tersebut dibuat dengan tulisan Rumi dan juga Jawi. Di sebelah bawah ukiran Mahkota Diraja Malaysia terdapat pula tulisan, ‘PANGKUAN NEGARA’, yang menggunakan tulisan Rumi dan Jawi. Di sebelah belakang pingat ini terdapat Jata Persekutuan dengan tulisan ‘JASA CEMERLANG’ yang ditulis dalam tulisan Jawi dan Rumi. Pingat Pangkuan Negara tersangkut pada reben. Reben ini sama bentuk dan warnanya dengan reben Pingat Ahli Mangku Negara dan lebar reben ini satu inci setengah. Pingat Pangkuan Negara ini dizahirkan pada 19 Ogos 1960 dan diwartakan pada 25 Ogos 1960.
